Location

The 2008 AALSO Symposium will be hosted by the National Aquarium in Baltimore, Maryland and will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel from Sunday March 16th through Wednesday March 19th, 2008.

The Symposium registration fees will be the same as last year for both operators ($189) and vendor ($500) attendees. Details and registration forms are listed below. Hotel rooms at the Hyatt will cost attendees $179 per night plus local taxes. This is a discounted rate for AALSO attendees and space at the Hyatt will be limited so please register early for your room. For those of you flying in, there is public light rail transportation from the airport for less than $4.00 round trip as well as taxi and shuttle services from the airport to the Waterfront District. The Hyatt is within a short walking distance from the public light rail train station. Your airport of choice will be BWI but there are two other airports in the Baltimore area you can fly into. All activities associated with the Symposium will be within a short walk from the hotel so there is no need to rent a car to attend the event. The Hyatt is located in the beautiful Waterfront district of Baltimore with plenty of good restaurants located in the neighborhood.
